Hopping place with a lot of people on their laptops even on a Saturday morning. The breakfast tacos were delicious with the pico, perfect. Would get again. The only thing I would possibly switch is the tortilla. Just regular. The avocado toast was no good: fresh avocado but too much salt. The salt overpowered the dish. The bread was not great either, hard edges soft soggy middle. The Smith burger was delicious and the side of fries masterful.

I had a midterm the day I was heading back to LA so I knew I had to lock in at a cafe with WiFi somewhere. Coupa Cafe was recommended a lot on the Stanford subreddit, so I decided to take a look! There's lots of great seating for working and studying, so it's probably for the better that I don't go to Stanford, because otherwise I'd probably blow all of my money studying at cafes. I got the sugar-free chai forgetting that "sugar-free" means fake sugar, so that's on me. It's a premade mix so I'd probably stick to their coffees here.

The coffee here is good, they have quite a wide selection of beverages. The desserts in the refrigerator looked appealing too although I didn't get anything other than the coffee here. They have some boozy coffee options which seemed interesting! The inside was dark and very casual. Not a very uplifting cafe to sit and enjoy. I personally prefer a brighter, well lit cafe with refreshing space to work or hang out at.

Such a cute cafe. Came here as part of our food tour. Parking is easy inside a parking garage. They don't have servers. You order up in the front and get a buzzer to pick up the food. We ordered: - BACON CLUB PANINI: bacon, turkey, avocado, baby gems lettuce, cheddar cheese, tomato, garlic aioli - good - EMPANADITAS: gluten-free artisan handmade four venezuelan fried mini empanadas, two ground beef & two fresh white cheese. Comes with 3 sauces. These taste like cornbread empanadas. The beef ones are very good. Cheese was ok. - COUPA BURGER: angus beef, caramelized onions, bacon, romaine lettuce, cheddar cheese, tomato, side of fries - good sturdy burger. Love the pile of caramelized onions. Stacked with bacon. They don't skimp. - BREAKFAST CREPE: scrambled eggs with gallic mushrooms, avocado, Gouda cheese, and guasacaca. - my favorite dish. Super garlicky! Garlic fans will love this dish! - CARAMEL MACCHIATO: love the strong coffee flavors, but should the drink be a little sweeter with caramel flavor as I didn't taste that? - SPICY MAYA MOCHA: didn't taste this, but seems to be one of my cousin's go to. Good atmosphere. We were lucky to get there right before the crowd. The place was packed! Definitely will be back.

I'm happy to say Coupa has really improved their service. Love coming here for healthy food, meeting with friends or work colleagues, and the maya hot chocolate. Would love to see this open even later on weekdays. The ambiance is definitely still very much a locals scene. For us locals, it feels like home. Pro tip: Try the maya hot chocolate
